In the building and design process of our AB Building Constructions Cattle Feeder, we have worked closely with trusted and experienced farmers to ensure every aspect of the feeder meets the demands of daily farm use. By gathering firsthand insights into the pros and cons of existing feeder designs, we were able to discover what works and doesn’t. Through the use of helpful feedback we were able to craft a fully functional, durable cow feeder that prioritizes both efficiency and shear strength built not just for farmers, but with farmers.
One standout innovation is the inclusion of a small viewing window, strategically designed to allow farmers to easily check feed levels at any time without the hassle of lifting the entire unit. This simple yet highly practical addition.
Unlike many other feeders on the market, our unit is a fully welded design eliminating the common issues of missing, loose, or damaged screws.
Another key feature that sets this cattle feeder apart is its single-lid design carefully thought out and engineered. Through our design process and ongoing conversations with experienced farmers, we learned that dual lid feeders often have challenges. Not only can lifting two lids at once be time consuming, but feed also tends to get lodged between the grates where the lids meet. This build up can be frustrating to clean, taking up valuable time in a farmer’s day. By simplifying the feeder to just one lid, we’ve eliminated that issue entirely making feeding quicker, easier, and far more efficient.
